I think I like the grizz whipping knot. Duel purpose.

Love that whipping knot. I currently use a red, white, and blue solomon bar slider knot. The red line running down the middle keeps the whoopie from slipping through, and the bling factor of the red, white, and blue is gratifying to some extent. However, the next set of whoopies will sport the whipping knot--less bulky, and there is an elegant simplicity in it that really appeals to me.

Here's one I made to childproof our refrigerator. My youngest boy loves to take everything inside the fridge and stack it all up on the outside--drives Daddy crazy, and the Missus keeps muttering, "No jury would convict me..." It scares me because I can't raise these kids by myself while the Missus is relaxing and enjoying her three squares a day in a federal penitentiary.



BTW you can see how grimy the handles are below the paracord shackle--a monument to the hours the boy has spent every day trying to override our security measures. Once he learns they can be bypassed with scissors I'm toast!

I saw them called loopie slings somewhere else. That makes sence because they make a big loop. The spelling could have gone to poopie easily enough, but w is pretty far from l on the keyboard.
