I agree with the mods--this forum is great the way it is! -dont mess with it! However, if you were to combine politics with hammocks, I think Shug would make a wonderful president! (he'd have my vote for sure!)
FYI: If you want to know what type a certain bear is, sneak up behind it and kick it. Then,
run like crazy and climb up a tree. If the bear climbs the tree and eats you, it's a black
bear. If the bear just pushes the tree over and eats you, it's a grizzly bear : )

I think it's a splendid idea, so long as all of y'all agree to agree with me.

If we were to combine real politics with hammocks, folks may enjoy politics a lot more.
“Republics are created by the virtue, public spirit, and intelligence of the citizens. They fall when the wise are banished from the public councils because they dare to be honest, and the profligate are rewarded because they flatter the people, in order to betray them.” ~Judge Joseph Story

We could have political debates in the woods by campfire swinging in hammocks. I think a lot would get solved.
Life looks better from a BIAS hammock.

Worked with the public for 31 yrs in the telephone industry. Started with 4 party lines and open copper wire! One of the first things I learnt was 'you don't discuss religion and politics with customers'. It's one thing that I make it a point of leaving at the trailhead.

Had to go back through this thread to make sure that I hadn't already posted this, sounded familiar.

Bad idea - I would just dominate that sub forum (well, except for the car part). You would all come to hate me as I dazzled you with my mastery of politics and religion, and flexed the muscles I developed on my high school debate team. I'd be the Michael Jordan of that sub forum!

For a fee, I would consider making all my arguments fit in with oldgringo's thinking.

Well, since I'm boasting, I would dominate those forums too!
