    Converting Dog to hammocking?

    Hello fellow hangers...
Question...any thoughts on bringing your dog hammocking? My thinking was to buy/make her own hammock...she's 44 pounds and is not getting into my HH with me. Has anyone used a seperate hammock for their pet? Katie loves the backcountry hiking and though i usually go to ground when i take her, i'd love to use my hammock.

Fronkey did a great video on this awhile back, it leaned more towards a ground cloth and a runner to clip the dogs leash to, I will see if I can find it, someone might beat me to it.

our Huskies go with us every time- i bought a CCF pad and cut it in two and also cut a big piece of Tyvek ground cloth and laid that over the pad and that is where the dogs sleep. They can't be trusted off leash so we attach them to a runner underneath the hammocks. They usually end up sleeping right under us and i can pet them if they get nervous during the night.

I really like the doggie tent idea. My dog stays restless all night if she doesn't have a den to sleep in. Has anyone tried that?
