Sorry guys, This is Nighthauk's wife hijacking his forum. I have a question. My mom is planning on taking the boys for a section hike of the AT (her first back packing trip so maybe they are taking her?). She wants to stay at Kay Wood shelter but it sounds like its on a cliff and I want to make sure that it is hammock friendly. Has anyone hung there recently?
I havent stayed at Kay Wood but I had NO problems finding places to hang on my trip thru Mass. They should be OK.
