Come ahead!!! Sign on if you want, don't if not.

FOOD! For the most part the heartier the better. Preferably a LOT of it.

Did anyone think to bring "Hardware" like: bowls, forks, spoons, etc. I got a few bowls I can bring, if I remember.

I checked our stash of picnic ware. I have 3 dozen bowls and about 15 small plates to contribute.

I have about 40 pounds of gator meat in my freezer and I was thinking of making some gator gumbo.

Sorry guys. Do to order volume at underquilts, I won't be able to attend after all. I thought I could sneak away for 3 days, but I don't want to hold up any of my customers orders if I can help it.

I wish everyone a great and safe time at Mt. Rogers!
I got in a fight one time with a really big guy, and he said, "I'm going to mop the floor with your face." I said, "You'll be sorry." He said, "Oh, yeah? Why?" I said, "Well, you won't be able to get into the corners very well."

Lost biker, I don't have an order with you but I'm telling you go. The people that order from you here on the forum would never tell you not to enjoy the one thing your business is based on. Two or three day isn't going to make anyone mad so go. I'll go with my 3 season gear and freeze my ars of if you go!

Lost Biker, it's a real shame you can't come. I agree that people would understand if you went...it would be product testing after all...

krshome: All the weather reports are currently favoring 3 season gear, so I wouldn't worry too much about freezing...

"I fish because I love to; because I love the environs where trout are found, which are invariably beautiful... because, in a world where most men seem to spend their lives doing things they hate, my fishing is at once an endless source of delight and an act of small rebellion; because trout do not lie or cheat and cannot be bought or bribed or impressed by power, but respond only to quietude and humility and endless patience...." --Robert Traver

I don't have a fear of commitment on this trip, I just need someone to watch my dogs. If i can find someone I'm 100% in. I'm thinking of doing some BBQ pork the day before I head on down How much food can you guys eat? KC or NC sauce?

Well due to scheduling conflicts I will not be able to make it this year. Here's hoping you all get some real cold and snowy weather.

    Be safe everybody!
