    Roaming Gnome SL 1.4

Got my new Roaming Gnome SL 1.4 in foliage grey.

Had a complete brain freeze when i got in. I thought "Oh no! the zipper is on the wrong end!!!" i thought i was going to have to sell it and order another one.
    then my brain thawed out.
    Anyway...
This thing is comfortable!! Quality workmanship too.
I know that no one hammock will work for every size shape and form but Randy's hammocks seem "just right". For me anyway.

As for weight i think it came in around 18oz without tree slaps so I immediately took the side tie outs off, that took almost an ounce off and I plan to take the whoopies off and just have an Amsteel loop to hook up to Dynaglide whoopies. That should save another ounce or 2.

    Nice work Randy.

    Thanks.

    Matt.

I must confess.... i had already bought a Dangerbird 60 on the "for sale" forum.
which motivated me to order the Gnome. I'll use the DB 60 for winter.

I like to think my obsession with gear weight is a healthy one... right guys?

===> LOL! Matt was reburning the leftover charcoal in the fire pit at the last NEHHA to make the ashes lighter. Really. He was. I have video.

I believe it was the standard size of 60" width unless the fabric itself came narrower for DIY gear supply.
    Length is 120".
