    ENO single or double nest?

I was looking into getting an ENO hammock soon. I want something better made and more durable than what I have. I feel like the double nest may be too big, and I would be swimming in it. I also feel like it may be more comfortable. Does anyone have any suggestions?
    Also, I'm about 5'9 170 pounds.

I only have experience with the double and it's pretty comfy. A few friends have them. I'll be honest though I bought a Bias weight weenie and my buddy who has used a double nest for a few years said the Bias was much more comfortable. He is 6'4" so I think the length had more to do with it than anything for him. They are lighter too if that matters. Defiantly not as durable than the Eno but I'm sure it will last much longer than most will use them.

FWIW, I am 5'8" and 155. I have both the single and double nest. I prefer the double as it is easier to lay on the diagonal. Would have to check the weight differential to see if the extra comfort is worth it. But having said that, I much prefer my blackbird to either.

The single was my first hammock and still my only one, and early when I didn't know about sleeping on the diagonal it worked fine with my pad. But now that I'm convinced sleeping on the diagonal is the way to go, the pad corners pop over the edges of the hammock and I wish now I had a double.

I have the double and love it! It is so easy to find a sweet spot, back, side, or stomach sleeper. The most common complaint I've seen others say about the DN is that there is too much excess fabric on the sides. Personally, I enjoy looping the attached stuff sack over my ridgeline and turning my hammock into a nearly enclosed cocoon if I want some shade, or pull the fabric over me like a blanket sometimes.

I have the double deluxe and it's definitely way too much fabric. I don't mind too much though. I cut the extra panels off the sides and turned them into snake skins.

Thanks for the info! I'll see if I can get a little time in both before keeping one or the other.

i have the single and just graduated to the "rest nest" which is even lighter/smaller...they both work great for me but for the benefit of weight and space, im definitely going to stay with the rest-nest...i tend to move around alot at night, sleeping on my back, sides and stomach and have had zero problems thus far...i am 185lbs and 5'10"...just my .02

Get the double. The extra fabric is helpful, but when you lay in it, the fabric isn't in the way.

Could you please tell me how it's helpful?
My current hammock has a problem with the extra fabric forming a "wall" where my head and feet hit it. Would more fabric help this?
