If my Hennessey Spectra cord is rated to 1400 lbs and the carabiners are rated to 17kN, how can I use Speer 1" webbing that's only rated to 700 lbs to make hangers?

Ed's webbing held up my 225lbs self before gear just fine.
Is that too much to ask? Girls with frikkin' lasers on their heads?
The hanger formly known as "hammock engineer".
Because 1400 lbs is more than you need, at least in Ed's opinion. I've never had a problem with his webbing.
