Question Found cheaper Down source for 800 fill?

After a lot of searching I found these guys, and wondered if anyone here has heard of, or used them?
Is there a major difference between Hungarian and white goose down?

    http://downbythepound.com/category.php?id_category=5

    Hope this is helpful

    One other source...

This is per pound @ $80.00, but is for white goose down, and they appear to have a discount code on, youtube, http://www.shopdownlite.com - use coupon code YTDOWN to save 10%.

    Purchase page - http://www.shopdownlite.com/wholesal...gs-p-3096.html

...and apparently you can by mixed with polarguard as well..now my head is truly swimming.

Website says that they are currently not accepting orders. Depending on shipping costs it may be a good find, also I couldn't find polarguard on their site.

I think Wilderness Logics has 850fp down for 6.75/oz. That's about as good as you'll find anywhere for the DIY crowd.

+1 for the price at Wilderness Logics. I did some very thorough searches and WL always comes out better. DIY Gear Supply used to have it slightly cheaper, but it's out of stock.

Thumbs up Thanks for the updated sources guys

FYI...the polarguard material is in the drop down menu for material purchase, and appears to be mixed 50/50, with the down?

Wink A little difference in price...

Not sure about shipping, but, WL is .25 cents more per oz., and appears to sell only per ounce, for what is advertised as "850+ White Goose Down "

(I know WILDERNESSLOGICS advertises it as "850+ White Goose Down", but their source/title page references it as " 800+ White Goose Down", (right-click on page, left click on "view page source", Line #68) Their description of web page.

+ or - 50 fill power, does it make a difference? Both pictures look the same to me.

Hardly matters now though, since as corrected, they are no longer accepting orders. (WL and others have probably bought all their stock, by the lb.)

I made an order with down by the pound right before they stopped taking orders. I actually got about 5 more oz than what I ordered. It was packaged quite sloppily, and by that i mean i got a half full pillow taped up with packing tape. The quality was pretty good though so no complaints on that. After I used that up and went looking for more I ordered through downlight. The down is far superior and the packing is much easier to handle. I haven't ordered from WL but their rep is outstanding as well.

Half a pillow?, really? That's crazy! Thanks for the post, and sharing your experience.
I saw this as well, for 3lbs, didn't see fill info, but the picture looks good for about $4 oz?

I have ordered the 1 lb of 800 fill from them several times, and have always been happy with the product. Plus they usually always have a coupon code for 10% off or free shipping!
