    SOLD: Well Used BMBH

    Hey Guys,

Finally getting down to it, gotta sell the bridge. It's very comfortable, but the hassle in setting up the tarp around it is what breaks the deal for me. I'm plenty comfortable in my HH for now, and with this money I might move towards a WBBB of some sort.

About the hammock, as stated in the title it is WELL USED. I got it used from a HF Member last year, but I'm not sure how old it was when I got it. Since I've had it, it's been out maybe 6 weekends.

The omni-tape is half coming off on one side (the inside seam) of the hammock for about 4 feet, and it's just starting to come off on the other side as well in the same way. This seems easily repairable or replaceable by anyone with thread-injection experience (i.e. not me). Additionally the ends of the aluminum bars are losing their rubber where it sets into the rings, and the middle parts where they connect are beginning to bell just a bit. The omni-tape on the bug net is in perfect condition, no holes in it, or in the hammock body itself.

Comes with the original stuff sack, 2x Climbing Grade Carabiners, and a pair of Eno Slap Straps; the original webbing suspension is long gone.

$100 in its current condition, includes Paypal Fees and Shipping CONUS.

So besides the velcro on the hammock body everything else is in good condition? I am interested, just wondering about repairability. Do you think the tape needs to be replaced or just stiched back down?

I would not worry about the condition of those poles. The slight bell at the end doesn't affect performance in any way that I could tell. That is normal for the older slyle (non-anodized) aluminum JRB poles after a bit of use. They are also lighter than the newer poles. Great deal for somebody!

    Hi Damnfast,

I contacted JRB earlier this year to find out if this would affect the structure of the hammock and they indicated that it would not. It should just be able to be re-stitched; the omnitape is intact and there is no damage to the hammock itself. I had looked into getting a zip mod from 2qzq, which is why I didn't have it repaired myself. Were I to keep it, that's the route I would take.

    Hope that helped.

Mine was doing the same thing on one side, but was still functional as far as being able to attach the net. But just for fun, when I got my Awl for All
http://www.awlforall.com/merchant2/index.html I did a quick and easy repair on this. It seems to be holding in a bombproof fashion.
