Smile Algonquin canoe trip, Sept 17-21

Took a nice 4 night solo trip in Algonquin Park. Didn't go too far, but had a blast trying out stuff like my tarp doors that I bought years ago and never used, and different tarp configurations. Here's a link to my photos.

Nice pictures. I've got the packafeather also. Love it's simmer, it works with the outback oven and I've made some good treats on it.

I'm headed out next weekend with my dad to Algonquin. Hope I get your weather.

Ha! Coming from Thunder Bay (near the Minnesota border), that's pretty much what I said when I first got to Algonquin: "It's just like Quetico!"

Thanks everyone for the nice comments.

Looks like you had a really good time. Nice to get out mid-week - that's how it should be done!
