    I am bummed

So my wife and I just got back from our weekend hike I the At along bear mountain and Sage's ravine. What a great time that we had. About 12 miles travel just the two of us and our dog. All of which I did some videoing. So once I get that all edited I post that up. On the sad note this morning I decided to make some hot water for some tea. Using a fancy feast. An and a gsi microdualist I got e very thing setup a safe distance from my hammock. Now I had used this setup for the summer no problems. However we used it on my ember lit and it had soot on it from that. When my wife lifted up the pot from the still going stove the stove stuck to the bottom for a couple of seconds and proceeded to drop and flare up scorching the bottom of my hammock gear *20 phoenix melting a spot on it. Nobody or anything was hurt. Just the UQ. Thankfully. Now I have to get another *20. On the bright side I have down to try and make a summer tq.

    Ouch!

There's got to be a way to patch that hole.

What about an iron-on patch, or something like a tarp repair kit?

Maybe. Right now it has tear aid on it. I can look into the iron patches though.

Something similar happened to Bannerstones UQ on an Ohio hang. It got fixed but he'd have to chime in on how. Give him a shout.

Yeah, get in touch with Adam or Jenny. I've seen similar stove/cooking related accidents that they have patched up. Hopefully you can get it fixed!
