..... urged to not hike by my doctor.......need a better doctor

My doctor told me to get out and hike more AND carry a lighter backpack to help with my bad hips.
I tried to get him to write it down on a prescription pad, but he refused.

OK, just let me know. Other than leaving for a few hrs on sat to pick up my buddy, I don't have any firm plans. You can hit me up last minute as needed. Fair warning though, we will be discussing your gear and gear making.
