    Anybody got a WL topquilt?

I've been using a sleeping bag as a top quilt and I'm thinking with Christmas coming up it might be a good excuse to spend some money (on myself)

I really like all my other WL gear and I'm sure that the top quilt will be the same, but I just thought I'd see if anyone had some input about their top quilt before I spend the cash. (This will complete my WL set up)

    Thanks.

Basically, if you could do it again, would you buy the WL? (I don't want to have to buy another top quilt for some time)

i have 3 and i'd do it again.
i have a Summer Series, a custom color King Size and a Coyote XXL.
the fleece patch is really a great addition.
all Wilderness Logics products are top shelf.

I think my TQ is comfortable and cozy. To the best of my knowledge, they make the largest/longest TQ on the market. Very important for someone my size, 6'4" 210lbs. I can move my feet! Most makers abandoned making gear that will fit outlier body types like mine while WL directly responded to our needs. They saw us as an opportunity. Says a lot. Marty is 6'2", so I think it is fair to say he is biased. He understands. I haven't used it enough to know if it can withstand continuous use and abuse. One point I will make about it is; for it's size, it compresses down really small.

In short... I would probably buy from them again.

I know first hand that all the gear I have from them is great. I have the Lite Owl, Tadpole, Bugnet, and Underquilt. The top quilt will complete my WL set up, but at $220 I just wanted to be sure it's the route I want to go.

Now to convince my better half that I "need" a topquilt when I have a sleeping bag that has been working just fine

Mine idea is pretty the same. I have been thinking to buy a top quilt as sleeping bag and also some more camping instruments.
