The food. Oh dear gosh, the food. I'm still getting over the goodies we had to munch on at this hang!
It was a bit of a surreal experience for me when I got there. The campground looked 3/4 full, but they were all HF folks. I think I spent about 5 minutes walking around looking for a face I knew. There were many, many, many new folks to meet face to face at this hang, and I loved that part of it! It really was a pleasure to meet some 'old' friends, live in the real world.
Now then, what about a real winter hang? Snow should start piling-up in the next month or so. Maybe it will actually get cold then.
Trust nobody!
Cannibal, could you actually use your mod powers to do something other than delete my posts for once , and lock this thread so people can be directed over to the trip report thread?
