If you think that something, there another route called Baxter Creek trail that 6.1 miles long with over 4,000 feet of elevation gain. (Baxter Creek is from Big Creek campground area to Mt. Another great video MM. Spamburglar and I were also in the park, a Noland Divide/Creek downhill trip. Waking up to 44 degrees (2500') was a bit warmer than your night on Mt Sterling but we now need to start packing the mittens. Where was your Flavor Flav thermometer?

Elavation gain was posted above. The loop using Baxter Creek we've got scheduled for next spring, late spring; I want to carry as little as possible on that route but this time I was crazy enough to tote the real camera and a tripod.
Yes looking forward to the C.O, not physically recovered from Sterling yet but will bike again today-luckily on the C/O don't have to worry about carrying too much food; we'll plan the clothes once we can get a good 5 day forecast.
