    cuben fiber tarp

I just received a 12 foot cuben fiber tarp from Hammock Gear. This is by far the most remarkable piece of gear I have ever purchased. It pitches taut and weighs about as much as a peanut butter sandwich. If you are considering a cuben fiber tarp pay the extra $15.00 and get the 12 footer. If this was on an earthquake scale and the 10' 10" is a 5 then the 12 footer would be 10 times better at a 6.9.!

Same here with the longer RL, too; width is 92" on center. Nice translucent green.

Where'd you pick the green up? I've seen a white one from one of the familiar vendors here, but I really would prefer green.

I emailed HG to ask - think they had grey and green, maybe something else. Glad I went with green.

i'm sure i'd love a 12' tarp, but the trees are just to close together in the Whites.
Every time i get to camp its usually evening and i am quasi bushwhacking around the campsites looking for a good spot and its rare that i find trees 13 feet apart with nothing between them.
