I am going to try to arrive Thursday eve. I will bring Brats from http://www.weepingradish.com/. I wish I could bring a keg of their beer
Beer won't solve problems, but then again, neither will milk !

What kind of capacity does your pack have?

If anyone is interested in getting lit and passing out in the snow, might I suggest SoRuck instead of the Winter Hang?

Well, all kidding aside, we've never seen any of that in the past and I doubt anyone would get to that point this time. Mostly we spend a lot of time talking, laughing, eating, and staying warm. Sometimes folks go on a day hike, but most always there's a lot of opportunity to go see and discuss the new gear and new setups with the folks who created them.

    Always a good time.

Just to make the Winter Hang a little more tempting....

Jacks 'R' Better will, for the third year, again conduct the gear raffle to benefit Hammock Forums and White Blaze...

Same rules as the last two years..... Tickets are $10....Bring exact change multiples as we don't carry change (too heavy)....You or your on site "agent" must do the prize claiming at the Winter hang.

The raffle will be conducted after the group dinner Saturday night....Tickets can be purchased any time Friday or Saturday.... All the prizes will be displayed at the shelter beginning Friday....We will publish the prize list as the Hang gets closer ... But rest assured, "warm and dry", It will be worthwhile....And yes there is still a pair or two of the now even rarer original model Python Skins"...

NCPatrick and Iafte are allowed to participate, however, they must agree to let others rub their head for luck thoughout the weekend, as they clearly seem to have an over abundance of good luck....

Put this hang on the calendar...It is a good 'un.
