this summer my wife and daughter (and dogs) were in a tent and my son and I in hammocks.
I actually don't hear my wife get up and walk dogs at 9:30am - cause I was sleeping she said she walked right by us and said good morning.... didn't stir till about 10:00 .......

she still thinks I'm weird for wanting to sleep in a hammock, she has no idea why I want to sleep like that instead of in the tent - I'm still trying to convert her --- I think my daughter is interested in trying a night in the hammock -- but gotta wait till next summer.
