HH Desert Rat ??? Want information

I am very curious about the HH Desert Rat. I saw it in the odds and ends sale list, but I can't find any information on it at the Hennessey site. I did see the pics of it with the 2QZQ #4 zipper mod. (that sure is sweet by the way), but I haven't found much info here on the forum either.

Can anyone out there give me some information/specs and any pics of the entire setup?

    Thank you awesome folks!!!!!

The Desert Rat was roughly equivalent to the Explorer Deluxe if I understand correctly. I want to say it was one of the military models they had. It would seem it has been discontinued. You best bet for information would probably be Hennessy Hammocks by phone or email. Be aware... that odds and ends list changes daily if not hourly so you would need to contact them directly if you wanted to order.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

The one in the odds and ends sale sold, I am still curious to know about them. The one in the sale said it was new, so it had me wondering if they are bringing it back.
I would like to see pics of it with the fly, if possible. Hennessey didn't have any pics that I could find.

This is identified as a Desert Rat even tho it is not identified as such on the page text. It is from an older Hennessy web page.

http://hennessyhammock.com/articles/...ts_and_awards/ should take you to the original page.

I jumped on the WayBack Machine, HH's site had some info on the Desert Rat back in 2005. It was one of the "military" models:

    Weight limit: 250lbs / 113.4kg / 18 stone

    Hammock dimensions: 100" x 64"
    Fabric dimensions: 120" x 60"
    100" ridgeline
    210 D Oxford nylon

    Fly:
    101" long sides

Early models (early 2005) look to have been called the "Expedition Asym Desert Tan"
