Just finished my first Hammock DIY! I converted my youth down sleeping bag into a cozy TQ. I removed the zipper, rolled the edges and hacked off the hood. How'd I do?

The lighting makes it look a little funny, it's actually grey and blue.
Charlie although not a poodle is a Bichon Frise, which descends from poodles. The hypo allergenic coat is a must for my brother's GF (who I credit for helping me out a ton on this project). He could not get enough ear-slides in before I put it away.
No idea on the weight yet. Waiting to find a more reliable scale, but at the moment the weight watchers scale I did use tilts to EEEE as it seems to go past the 36 oz max stuffed inside a 2.5 oz stuffsack... so I'm guessing that it's in the 2.25-2.5lb range. Which makes sense as the bag is about 20 years old, and filled with some pretty low fill power down (lots of feathers). I cant even imagine the nightmare of pulling all the old down out and restuffing it with 900fp down. I'll bet I could shave off a few more oz by taking about 4-6" off of the width, but I want to try it out first and see how the size suits me.
I may convert it to a 3/4 UQ in the future and buy / DIY a bit lighter TQ. Ideally I'd like to have a TQ < 20 oz. But for now it's a cheap easy super comfy way for me to get started. It is definitely noticeably lighter than my regular sleepingbag after removing all the zippers, nylon reinforcement webbing, and hood.
