Another way to look at it is a one time investment.
For example, I just went on a 14 day trip and it costs me about $150 for food and consumables because I already had the gear. Which isn't bad at all for a two week vacation.

yes it does seem to happen quickly, and may i just add why is it that as soon as i wake and soon as i get ready for bed i have to check the for sale forumn ....you know just in case????????
