    My bunching solution

After a bad night's shiver with a badly hung underquilt, I sent it back to the vendor for some modification. Came back 3 days later with longer cinch cords on each end (which now means I can use it as a quilt) and eyelets on each corner. I've used small bits of bungee to attach some cord locks so can now lock the quilt in position onto the suspension to stop it sliding up and down or bunching up:

That's an interesting solution to your underquilt suspension.

I think that this is also the reason that Hammock Gear now includes a primary and secondary suspension for their quilt.

    Cheers

Sounds like a good idea, let us know.
