Nice videos (as is your hallmark). I can subscribe to the bliss of being out alone. If I get spooked, I just try to reach inside and find that "I'm-just-another-animal-out-here"-feeling of connection to the woods, and that usually helps.

A couple of days with Shug and my morning coffee now--I could get spoiled with this. Enjoying the trip. +1 being out there alone is a spiritual experience. My last overnighter was punctuated by an owl most of the night and some woodpeckers in the morning. People worry about the wrong things--bears and wolves are going to be the issue--bugs and vermin are more likely to mess up a trip it seems. Thanks for taking us along. Glad you're back out in the piney woods after the summer show season.

Hey Shug, will we ever see an unedited video of yours?

Great to see you are getting a chance to take a break from "clowning around" and get out in the piney woods. Enjoying your video, thanks for sharing. Plan to get a weekend out in the woods myself this week...a much needed break.

Another great set of shugieo's (Shug videos). These made my day. One needs to get away from the stresses of work and home. I plan to be out in the mountains this Friday and enjoying the piney woods meself. Thanks again.

Creepy noises - yeah, it's funny how something as small as a mouse or bird walking on leaves sounds huge.
