I know we can do this but once a year but I'm sure looking forward to seeing friends from last year again.

Most of us end up poorer here but richer for being here. Olddog, Fulltime hammocker, 365 nights a year.
I am still laughing over this! We are the worst crowd to make a cord of wood error with. I will never forget poor innocent Tommy from Palatka unloading a half a cord and in all innocence saying "i thought that was a cord" and having 50 people yell as one "no--a cord is 4 by 4 by 8 STACKED!" Amazing. Notice that this stupid video has 81,000 hits! I suspect Florida hangers are like half of that tally!
Hedgehogs! Why can't they just share the hedge?

"Vada a Bordo, Cazzo!"
Poor Tommy from Palatka never knew what hit him! I feel sorry for the guy actually. He got lost on the way to Buck Lake in the dark and then had to deal with all of us. Pretty funny.
On another topic. What are some of the hikes in the local Buck Lake area that would be attractive to everyone? Maybe a hike from Alexander Springs to Buck Lake? This is around 7 miles and is a point to point hike. http://www.floridahikes.com/ftalexander
We would have to arrange a carpool to Alex Springs to hike back to Buck Lake. Should not be a problem.
Another possible short hike is from the Buck Lake campground to Farles Lake. This is a short 3 mile hike with the last part on a graded forest road.
There are a few other hikes possible, but these are the easiest and less complicated. Maybe we can list a variety of hikes and individual groups can make their own choices. Let us know if any of these hikes interest you.

Perhaps a short hike from Pat's Island to the sinkhole and the Long family graveyard, would require a carpool as well.
Hey TFC Rick! Congrats man! Sorry you can't make it this year. Enjoy the new edition to your family!
I was finally cleared at work to take the time off work to attend this! Activities galore this year! What shall I pick for myself?
