Well at my age there's not much left but having fun and trying to impart a bit of dis...(...fill in the blank...) wisdom. Just checked and there are more than 1691 words that start with 'dis'. Sorry getting off track we were discussing the 3rd Annual Florida Hang. Goodnight all.
Most of us end up poorer here but richer for being here. Olddog, Fulltime hammocker, 365 nights a year.

If one of those experts wants to step up, I suggest adding the activity to the Activities Spreadsheet along with a day/time so those who want to attend can plan to be there for it.

Okay, I know I'm a tad obsessive about planning, but with so many things that I want to do and so little time to pack it all in, I can't do it without a plan! Surely I'm not the only one!

Please folks if you are bringing children or teens make sure we know. Sign them up on the activities spreadsheet.

Olddog has a craft in mind for the kids and I am planning to make paracord survival bracelets with them.

Adults, if you want to make a paracord bracelet you can as well. I think my fee will be a shift of KP for those taller than me!

One more detail of interest to everyone. The raffle will take place on Saturday and will begin at 5 pm. That's 17:00 hrs for you Military types. If we begin at 5 we should be able to conclude it before sunset.

Sunset that day is 17:55 and I for one like to have a look see at the items before the raffle starts. There are few items I know I would love to win this year.

On a side note, anyone wishing to make an item donation to the raffle should contact lilricky via PM and let him know what you have and the value of the item.

Mental note to self, No electronics this next paddle trip.
A few months back, my wife and I tryed from the take out area towards the springs. It was a blast and she dumped once when attempting the "rapids". Going with the flow back down, it almost seemed harder due to those tight turns you mentioned.
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you

Still a fun paddle on all the "runs". The most relaxing and enjoyable scenery-wise for me was Silver Springs. Something about wild monkeys greeting you at the waters edge makes the trip special.
If people have never been, I highly recommend taking a morning to paddle while attending the FH3 hang.

I have a copy of 'Freezer Bag Cooking: Trail Food Made Simple' I'd be willing to add to the raffle, if you think anyone would be interested?
