Thanks for the videos, Shug. I always enjoy going along with you on your trips, even if only through YouTube. I sure wish I could join you and Hickery in the Gorge some day. I might even try liver mush...

To true on the TSF Chili....really tasty.
Me and Hickery go and if folks can find us...then cool. Were are that way.

I did too! But I get asked a lot to show how. Never knew it was that confusing.

You do need a permit as it is BWCA. Starting Oct. 1 you can "self-fill" one at the trailhead.

Yes you will. I am still on the fence as I have an old circus clown friend stopping through the Twin Cities and wants to stay a couple of days right at that time.

Thanks for taking us along on your trip, Shug.

I would swear that I can actually see your energy levels rising throughout the series. Amazing what a little trail therapy can do for you.

I surely enjoyed all three segments of that trip Shug. Beautiful ponds, beautiful leaves.

When you showed the "white gnats" I didn't know what they were but I remembered hearing something about "white flies", so I googled it.

Couldn't wait till morning coffee to watch this--early goin's on on Wednesday mornings. Good as always. Sorry you didn't get to spot that moose--and sorry that you couldn't get a shot or two for those of us who don't live in moose country. Many thanks for sharing.

Great video, Shug. I've been on that trail 3 times and gotten turned around and "misplaced" all 3 times. It can be a tricky beast if you stop paying attention for very long.

Thanks for taking us along on your "therapy" trips. My boy and I have learned a lot from you and we are always entertained. You truly are a gem, sir.

Thanks Shug. Really appreciate your taking us on a tour of the "north woods". Here's to hanging out there for many more years.

It was so nice after "performing" all summer. The videos camera is the next best thing to Hickery on the trail for someone to talk to. But the camera never sings back.

I was so hoping to see it but was up the ridge. Sounded big and loud. I am going back to hopefully get one on camera someday.

    Thanky a lot.
Easy to get turned up there but it is fun. The SHT is just to easy navigation-wise at times. good to be be-fuddled and use the map and compass.
