    Attention from the Texas Embassy

Shug- Please note that when eating the official Texas State Fair Chili- generic "corn chips" are not allowed to be used...we only endorse Fritos the official corn chip of the State Fair of Texas.....

Seriously- I enjoy the videos and I hope to share a campfire with you someday.

    Scrape a little harder

Lots have asked me so pot cleaning must be a mystery. I thankee.
An interesting technique for cleaning up the dishes for sure.

Mine is to scrape the pot a little harder - and then make a cup of coffee. The way I make coffee you'd never taste anything else in the cup - takes care of the spoon also.

    Thanks Shug!

    Cheers!
Glad you enjoyed the trip with me....still thinking about the trip.

The Texas State Fair Chili caught my eye, too - will definitely be ordering some of that along with some Hawk's Vittles, and my own home-dehydrated concoctions based on some of Babelfish 5's recipes. After all, that's why we all go in the Piney Woods, right? To be able to eat things the wife would never even allow in the house! LOL!

Thanks for another great one, Shug!

It is fun to eat what one wants guilt-free....pop-tarts and all. Thanks a lot.

I kinda like the gruel cold and chunky. I'll try the coffee deal.

I bring a bagel to use as an edible scraper...by the time I'm done wiping the pot with that, its pretty clean. At that point, swishing some water around and drinking it isn't too bad.

Gorgeous trail there, Shug. Looks like you had a lot of fun out there in the pineys (pinii?).

Hope that knee gets back to normal soon. Good on you for pressing on with it in that condition. Glad it wasn't a trip ender.
