    Permethrin Expiration

You know that your permethrin has reached the end of its effectiveness when you discover a long trail of fire ants making your tarp ridgeline a handly little highway! Gesssshhhh! Does it never end!

Darn GrannyPat, first a tree tries to fall on you, and now the fireants have sent an army after you. I have to make sure I never hang near you.

But I don't snore as loud as some other hangers. I also got up last night to pee and sat back down on the underquilt instead of the hammock. Hit the ground, got leaves on my fleece jammies Ever tried to get leaves off of fleece? I am just a comedy of errors.

Yep, but that's nothin'. Ever have to get burrs off socks, t-shirt, and knit gloves?!!! Now you're talkin' PATIENCE and PERSEVERANCE!!!

I wuz down your way last weekend under BEAUTIFUL blue, sunny skies. Here's proof (a photo of the Clemson scoreboard at the end of the game):

P.S. I even saw in the paper that my old high school (Wren) played "West-Oak," a school that didn't exist when I was in high school.

I still can't figure out what the ants were doing up there. No food up on the tarp. There was a line of ants the entire length of the ridgeline and a big bunch of them on one of the tree straps. Maybe they were eating the permethrin?

West Oak is not too far from us. I've never been to their games but one of our church members takes good photos and puts them on this facebook page. We have been having some perfect fall days.

Been there, done that! I found that laying in the underquilt is not nearly as comfortable as laying in the hammock.
That taught me to wear my head lamp, even on a full moon!
