I'm going to try to make it. Unfortunately I'm working in atl through Christmas and I don't know my schedule. I actually rode out to Bussey's point a few days ago and there was a hunt going on. You guys missed a great Helen hang.

The event hosts, PilgrimsProgress, called me yesterday. They were out at Bussey Point checking out the sites. The sites are only $6 per night (plenty of trees, yea!) So, we can just divide the $12 cost (for the two nights) between how many hangers come. Also, the cooking contest is fireside/campfire cooking...not necessarily in a Dutch oven, so bring on the food. Now I just need to get busy on my new hammock and quilts!

I am trying to see if I can make it. I am new to hammock camping and that will be my first official hang. I am going to order an UQ tonight and I hope it is here in time. Don't count me as part of the group from HF as I already posted a note on the cache page.
