Any and all are welcome to join us! It does not matter how new or old you are to hammocking. Just be sure to bring plenty of warm stuff. We are all there to have a great time, share our knowledge and skills, and enjoy each other's company.
raiffnuke said she'd keep me warm during the hang but for some reason I doubt she is a she.
Hey now! I said no such thing!
The group hang is open to all not matter age, gender, noob or seasoned vet. We are there to have fun and good around, eat well and spend more money then we should when we get back home. Lol

Hah, don't feel bad. I bought a hammock, set up with all the cool widgets already, and did not use it for about a year. Must have used the tent 20+ times in that period. Finally used it, and wow, is it amazing. Try it in your yard, don't be ashamed. Now eat your spinach and hang that thing. and you will have one of those.
If it moves, you can eat it. No promises you will think it tastes good.
Welcome; hope you can make it to the hang.
You might want to add a tarp to your list. Since this is a car camping scenario, it should be easier for us to bring some extra gear to round out the mix. I have an old Moss Vistawing that I have not tried out for hammock use but plan to bring for extra shelter; yours to use if you need something to keep the (hope to have) snow off.
I can bring my -25*F down winter bag if you need some extra insulation.
