no problem, they're super strong.
do you know their weight limit
If your worried make them out of 1/8 instead of 7/64, but ive seen some big ol boys using whoopies without any problems
I'm using 7/64 whoopies and I'm 295. There probably good to 1000 to 1200.

I would go with 1/8 also just to grank it up a saftey notch. It's not going to add much more weight to the setup.
I think the 7/64 is rated at 1400 lbs.
I'm 360 and I made mine out of 1/8. Feel free to do the same with confidence.
I used to be a somebody, now I just camp.
If it makes you feel any safer the top row is for 7/64 amsteel blue. Samson states that it will hold at least 1400 lbs with the average strength being 1600 lbs.
The math has been done by fellas far smarter than me, and they figure that so long as your suspension is at the magical 30° angle the force exerted on the suspension for each side is equal to your body weight.

I saw some info somewhere (from Samson I ink) that showed the load rating reduced to 60% for the bury sections. Don't know how accurate it is or the math used to determine that rating.
I have one hammock with 7/64 and another with 1/8, both made by me. Haven't had any problems with either.
