Yours looks a lot more reclined than mine. Maybe I need to make a shorter hammock before lengthening my stand.
I like sitting in mine at night and looking up at the stars.

The stand was originally designed for an 11' hammock folded in half, if you're going with a chair specifically, a 5' to 6' length will suit the stand dimensions stated in the doc.
Glad I could be of assistance, your stand look very familiar the brackets seem to be the only way to tell them apart
Knowing that a debate may ensue (small chance), I put this question on the table… What is the lightest breathable/downproof fabric for making quilts and where can I get it? I want to make a version of the chair/UQ that is as light and “packable” as possible. I have been using the Digicam ripstop because It looks cool (IMO) and I can get it locally but it weighs 1.5oz plus, it’s simple time for a new colour!
Not 100% sure but I think it is M50 available here.
Gentle raindrops and mighty oceans...neither can exist without the other.
Time heals all wounds...but it usually leaves a pretty big scar.
Haha, I win, sevenD is 0.05oz lighter here
It is more expensive though
So here's my experience thus far…
The M50 ($12.95/yrd) will cost $55 shipping to get $52 of material shipped to Canada, it’s an option but falls in the “last resort” category.
The SevenD ($20/yrd) is out of stock but price is crazy for this application anyway. What about the Nobul1 ($7.95/yrd), does anyone have an opinion or experience with that??
What a wonderful leap of imagination. Quite creative and comfortable looking. I do a lot of canoe camping so probably going synthetic. Is your fabric from Magna?
