how do i know if imat the magical 30 degree angle i have know idea what 30 looks like or how to get to it lol and would a structural ridge line made of amsteel hold my 330 lbs

As for the first:

I hold my hang out with my thumb and forefinger extended with the thumb up and the forefinger pointing from the tree to the hammock, to form something like this: __|

If your forefinger is parallel to the ground and the suspension touches your finger and thumb tips, you're good.

As for the second:

Thumb up and pointer finger extended (no not that one, that's just rude, the first one) creates a rough triangle. Place the tip of the thumb against the suspension and hold your finger level pointing towards your hammock. This will get you close enough to the magical 30° angle.

I'd guess that the amsteel will hold you fine as plenty of people here use it for a SRL without trouble, even above your weight.
