Hey DRF, welcome to the forums and hammocking!
If you're interested in coming out on a group hang, keep your eyes open for the EGL (Eastern Great Lakes (EGL) hangs that we have several times each year (including some fun canoe trips). They're mainly in southern Ontario/Algonquin and have always been a lot of fun. It's interesting seeing all of the different approaches to solving common challenges in hammocking.
