Hmmm, after some thinking and seeing how Shug is able to move his UQ down the channel, maybe I have to tighten up the lines that run through the channel instead of the line locs on each corner of the UQ? the line locs pull the fabric snug so i will see if loosening these and tightening the main suspension will do anything.

If you're setting it up alone, try putting some things into the hammock to mimic body shape. You will be able to see the gaps and adjust accordingly. A wider hammock may require some different settings than a narrower one. I have to keep my ends at about 50% open, not snugged tight with the 60" width of mine. Channels are tightened up to hug the top sides of the hammock. I also use a quilt protector in damp or cooler weather, which gives me a few more degrees with my 40* Incubator. Drafts are killers.

The solution was to tighten up the main suspension(the line running through the channels). This brought the UQ up, instead of just pulling it out like the secondary suspension. Then tied off the line locs at the foot end because the head end is a tad bit shorter(the line is) and I had too much room at my head and not enough at my feet. Works like a charm now! Thanks for all the support!
