Ridgerunner undercover/poncho on a gathered end? Doable.

Was out lounging in the gathered end today and thought - would my RR UCP work on this in a pinch? I hooked up the mini-biners to those of my uq suspension and lo and behold, it would do the trick! Not perfect, but if I'm using it as a poncho anyway, it would be nice to know it could work. There are large gaps on each end, but they could be cinched up I think, or it might not matter.

Was just doing a search on the undercover and came across this. Very nice, thanks for sharing. Great to know that when I pick one up that it will do double-duty.

How well does it work on the RidgeRunner? Does it help a lot with temperature and protection? What's your thought on it as a poncho?
