    SE Pennsylvania/ NW Delaware

I am looking for recommendations for somewhere to hang in SE Pennsylvania/ NW Delaware. My brother-in-law drills with the Air National Guard in New Castle, DE and I thought I would tag during one drill weekend and go trout fishing in White Clay Creek Nature Preserve in SE PA. The problem is the preserve is day use only, White Clay Creek State Park in DE will only allow BSA camping, and Lums Pond State Park in DE does not allow anything to hang from the trees.

I would really appreciate any Ideas.

Not sure if you are still looking for an answer but the KOA campground near me has some great sites down by the water. Very close to where you will be.

I have camped at lum's pond and had the same concern. I called and verified that the rule doesn't apply to tent hammocks. I have camped there with no problem.

Thank you guys for the reply. I ended up camping at Elk Neck State Park in MD. I called ahead and they were very hammock friendly.

Hey, that's good to know! I live about 40 minutes from there, so it's going to be a backup spot for me now. I haven't camped there since I was in the scouts, almost 30 years ago.
Like thrash metal? Check out my nephew's band, Deathwatch. He's an amazing drummer... https://soundcloud.com/user-660860695
