I am currently making and shooting video advertisements for a select few gear manufacturers that I intend to run as clips at the ends of future episodes of Hammock TV. To honor a new gear maker that has spawned from our own community, I dedicate this .... the first HF Video Advertisement

(its nothing more than an invented logo, and an entertaining way to view Brandons pic gallery
of his new products) Please note that this is merely an experiment and one persons really
loose interpretation on many items . In future, any commercials will use approved themes
and official logos.

Alternatively people can send me already made advertisements or messages to air.

I always saw Warbonnet as more a Native American headress, so it was fun to see your interpretation. Did Brandon have any input on his new logo?

Ya I figured on more of a native and natural theme too. But I have to wait until Brandon comes up with a logo and website. I just decided to play around with it and have fun. A viking helmet reminded me of the letter W... and then I just ran with it :P


This was just an experiment on the technical side. I wanted to see how plausible it is to animate something from nothing more than a handfull of still images. I figure these are easiest to obtain from the gear makers I want to support with advertising. I also wanted to see if you could use said handfull of images and make something under 1 minute, and still convey a message or reaction from the viewer.

I think with a bit more refinement it will work out. Its very quick to produce (good for me)
And all I need are some glamour shots, company logos, and some basic text to relay things like sales, new products, or general information about a company. Music should help set the tone (no pun intended)

Whaaat? No lightning? No wind, whipping past the hammock with flags standing out? No "forlorn" or "very serious" looks into the distance from warriors standing next to the hammock? No threatening storm clouds gathering in the distance? No announcer intoning... "In a world where..."?



Good video though. Can't wait to see version 2, once Brandon gives you the real logo...

Got my own WB review vid in the making. The more the better as this group really likes to see things from any point of view. Also with such a new and radical hammock like the Warbonnet it warrants several looks from the field.
