Summer Quilts

i live in CA and typicaly backpack in areas surrounding yosemite, im looking for a quilt to use in the summer, doesn't need to be to warm, could probably get away with a 50F quilt, becasue i typicaly compact, very warm clothing to sleep in usualy. i could probably sleep without a quilt and be warm enough. But i just feel realy awkward if imm not covered with something

military poncho liners are cheap and good to 50. what are you using for underquilt?

last spring i purchased the SummerSeries quilts from WildernessLogics.
the TQ is the most versatile that i've seen.
i really like the sewn through construction.

Cottage quilts like the wilderness logics are made well and are generally about the best you can get for hammocking. But for my money, they are just to expensive for a summer quilt.
If your in the market for down, look at the golite 1+ series bags or quilts.

If your ok with synthetic, just about any sleeping bag will do, just depends how much you wish to spend. Or even a good bag liner would do the trick.

For a low of 50, an under quilt is helpful too. Easiest and cheapest is to make your own (see poncho liner uq) but there are some for cheap available. You don't need much, mostly just something to break the wind.

I'm using a blue ccf pad that I've cut down a little. I'm planning to make an under cover once I can figure out how to measure my hammock somewhat accurately
