Congrats - that is an excellent haul ! Now the stalking of the mailbox begins!

Have you thought of any good places to hang in the Fort? I get back there on occasion to visit family

To be honest TallPaul, everything in the immediate area (I am far from being an expert on this) is not very good for hammock camping. I have gone to a few places(Chain O Lakes and Roush Lake) but they were geared for tents and campers. Too many people blasting radios, etc..

My maiden trip last month (went solo on my very first overnight hike ) was to the Deam Wilderness(a 3 1/2 hour drive each way for me) and was really great! Dispersed camping is to my liking...

If anyone has knowledge of a great place to hang around "the fort", please let me know.
