I made some laminated signs today to point the way to the camp area. Should be there early Friday and will put them up to herd the masses in the right direction.

Any info on proper "protocol" for these group hangs would be greatly appreciated.

You just say you are coming and come on out. Sometimes there is a need to reserve a site or prepay, but those are usually if the hang is in a park that charges fees. You don't need to do that for this hang. Bring the family, kids and well-behaved animals. You can even bring tents if everybody isn't in hammocks yet. This is an opportunity to see different set ups since most hammocks are not available at retailers to try and meet and talk to folks who like hammocks. This is going to be going on Saturday too, some of us are just going in early. Hope to see you there. We won't make you holler if you don't want to.

I'm bringing my Hennessey Expedition and my 11 ft. DL DIY. I have another DIY but I don't have a separate suspension for it yet. I also have some reflectix and a torso size pad that I can share. I'm bringing some wood, but I'll need somebody to help me carry it in.

Used to in my younger days. You'll have some of the best twisty roads in Ga if you do. There's some great loops up there that make for a nice ride.
