Any interest in a Georgia hang?

Ok gotcha. Only problem with vogel is they're a bit pricey to camp at. There's a small campground at DeSoto Falls as well. Not sure about price if any. IIRC it would be good for a group hang. Ill try to get up there next weekend and check it out.
I think there or Raven Cliffs are our best bets to accomodate everyone. We can camp without having to hike but there is plenty of nearby hiking.

This sounds great. I live in clarkesville. Might ride to raven cliffs today and check it out, have never been.

Well I have thumbed through 7 or 8 pages in this thread, I have signed up on a spread sheet, and i still have no idea WHERE or WHEN this group hang is taking place. Maybe i missed something, but im really confused. Help please

Nothing is concrete right now but it's looking like Nov 10/11 at Raven Cliffs Falls. Although I plan to check out DeSoto Falls to see if it'd be an option.

double check that, i was there in may and had no issue.

When I called this morning to ask, the lady said no hammocks at the campsites in the park. Farther along the trails, OK but not where the pads are.

But I hope I'm wrong.

There is the Chattooga River area. From the SC you can walk south about a half mile to campsites and lots of trees. I have no problem walking that far. No fees and no problem hanging or finding trees.
