PackBacker.. I've got both the Traveler & the WBBB. Well, the Traveler was actually for my daughter, but you know I might have to borrow it on occasion I do like having the option of going lighter with the Traveler when I want, and the option of no bug net. But I also like the WBBB as well.

I also got some DIY stuff I still have to put together - curious how that will compare to the Traveler.

I can't speak to any of the other Hammocks - I'm fairly new to this myself.

I'll be interested to see what you end up. Good luck!

i went to a net less set up about a year and a half ago.
first a NightOwl then, because i like NO so well, i bought a LO.
i haven't used my WBBB since, i gonna hold on to it until my wife tries it a couple of nights. if she likes the LO-NO better, then i'll sell the BB.

    Snipe!

I like my 2 Travelers just fine, but the Snipe is just so comfortable for me.

    Make your own!

but if your not willing to do that then as already stated the BIAS(Butts In A Sling) Weight Weinne or Micro with Knotty Mod would bet great. Or also a Wilderness Logics Snipe which is practically the same thing.

havent got to try an 11' hammock yet but the 10'x5' channel end hammock w/ knotty mod I just made is more than comfortable for me at 5'11". I get just the slightest if any calf pressure and if I adjust myself right I can totally eliminate it!

    DIY Hammock option

For a no bug net mode, I made my own from a tablecloth. 10-1/2 ft long and 60 inches wide. Nothing else that I own lies as well. It was $12 and and an hour of sewing the the end channels. Hems are already sewn. Tablecloth Factory also sells organza table sheers that can be made into bug nets in the Fronkey style.

The boys at BIAS made me a WW Micro 64" wide with digital camo 1.0.
Super light, super comfy. They do great custom work.
Sold my WBBB 1.1 dbl after the first night in it. I really liked the WBBB, but this one's in another world.
