    Talking DIY tarp

I found some ripstop at jo-anns fabrickd i dont really know thw weight of it . I do know the weight of the tarp now (befor siclone treatment) which is 16.3 oz. i dont think thats too bad, the RL is 11ft and the center of the cat cuts are 9ft. I made it this large cuz i wanted a 3to4 season tarp kinda a one tarp deal. This is my first but not last tarp i have made , as i have 4 more to make befor im done... So here it is.

Caution...that short person in the pic probably thinks this it for HER! Look good so far! As long as YOU are the maker, consider making one tarp with close-able ends for more extreme winter conditions.

looks gooood! Nice use in contrast on the stititching. Seams look bullet proof too. I find JoAnns ripstop to be about 1.9 or so. I've made a lot of gear with their ripstop and never had any problems with quality. 40-50% off coupons are awesome

Nice job! But how much do those two tarp holders weigh?
That is not an ultralight setup.
