I have been talking to Adam at HG about this very same thing.
I have ordered a 0,0 setup for this winter and will get a 20* TQ next spring. Adam said a 0* BQ is no prob as it gets warmer you can easily vent, it's the TQ that will generally over heat you. But if your back is cold as many have said its a bad night.
Okay, please close this thread, i have made my choices and i don't want to second guess those choices!!!!!! Jk
LOL! that gave me laugh
+1 on that. Funny pic.
If i remeber correctly, I saw this a couple of years ago, it is seal skin.
Yep, dialed in for most of my cold weather camping...HG 20* Phoenix and HG 40* Burrow, slept warm and comfortable to 39*, I think with adequate clothing, I can get close to 30* and be fine. I sleep soo much cooler in a hammock, which is why I love it for summer camping! I THINK I can get away with one setup, but I can clearly see why you northern cold weather hangers need 2 sets, pads, socks, etc...
