I don't suggest using spectra. It will work fine most of the time, but the sheathing can get cut and It might happen at the wrong time.

Thanks dutch, I hope so, just ordered that line and some Flyz and dutch hooks from UK hammocks, if it is a little loose I might be able to close the antenna a little?

Hmm...Been using it for 2 years and hasn't failed yet.

EDIT: That said I just inspected the line and you are right...there are nicks all over in the sheath from where the antennae bit into the line. Also it appeared to have the most damage where the line bends on the Flyz. I'll be swapping out the spectra for something more durable. Thanks for the tip Dutch.

I am big fan of the no tangle though. I use it for tie outs.

It should be ok but if you have to tighten it there is a trick. Don't just squeeze it or you will just close the end and not effect where it rests. Instead put something in the end like a razor blade and squeeze the middle of the antenna to make it more wedge shape. If you have to move it will just be a tiny bit. Let me know how it works for you.

I'm using 2.2mm Stein Throwline with them, a little tight at first but good.

    No chafing so far

The Dutch Flyz also work on the 1.75 line used in the JRB Ridge line and Self Tensioning Line pairs and sets.

I forgot about this, got my stuff a while ago and the flyz and clips work great with the 1.5mm line. I've not been out to hang my tarp yet but set up my new crl in my house and it seems like it's gonna work great, the Flyz are nice and tight against the line and the with the hooks u can feel the line kinda 'click' into place. One more v.happy dutch customer and will definitely be buying more in the future!
