I am working on a new hammock sock now using 7 oz cotton canvas. I know a few people who have used the sock you are referring too and didn't have the best night's sleep. The one I made last year was similar and I still got some condensation. What I'm working on now should eliminate the problem completely.
I should have the one I'm working on in a couple of weeks and will make a video on how well it works up here in the nations ice box. If you guys like the design then maybe I'll make a how to video on how to make one.
