Keeping dry in Sandy's banana hammock!

We had a our second of four storm surges this morning, I had to get the hammock out before the storm really sets in! Anyone else making the best of this monumental storm? And all the best to those who, like me, are waiting this out!

I'm hanging out too, but it's high and dry in my bedroom. The government was nice enough to tell me not to work today. So instead I'm doing my first DIY project...a peak bag/pillow keeper.

If it weren't for the torrential rain and driving 30mph winds, I'd say it's a good day to test out the weatherness of my tarp.

That's the perfect condition to test your tarp.

Always test in worse conditions than you think you'll ever see. Then you can feel better about being out in it all.

If the water gets much higher under your hammock you will be able to use the kayaks. Stay dry while waiting out the storm.
