Foot end of the ridgerunner question.

I was looking at the new warbonnet ridgerunner and I loved how the foot end curved down. As I was looking I started to wonder how he achieved that with just one piece of fabric and I decided that in addition to the normal curve of the bridge hammock he must have had a very dramatic foot end curve for the purpose of having the extra fabric create the deep foot end.

Can anyone with the hammock confirm or deny my idea? In my head I imagine that if the end cap was removed and it was layed flat the ends would curve back towards itself or al least project way out from the sides. If you don't own the ridgerunner and still have idea of what's going on please feel free to add to the conversation.

    Thanks.

I think I get what your asking and I'm pretty sure the answer is the fabric is darted.

Not sure what you're referring to. The bed of the hammock from your shoulders to the foot end is made so that it basically lays in a flat plane. The end cap does have extra material and pleats that form a small pocket.

If you removed the end caps and laid the body out flat, it would have sort of an hourglass shape.

thanks for the responses. Can someone post a picture of the food end? I have a picture in my head of how this would be accomplished but I've been known to be wrong.
